That logic could very well save the NHS.

Not because of covid, but you apply it to anyone who does or has smoked, drinks more than advised or is overweight, the hospitals will be empty.

...Or would withholding healthcare be interpreted as forcing vaccination, if not literally then effectively, and put people like yourself off the jabs?

But that's not really the point of the piece.

Very true about distractions. I also think people get angry when they've "done what they are told" (which I should clarify, is not the reason everyone gets vaccinated) and taken one for the team, then someone else dares to do differently. It's personal in a way a lot of real issues aren't.

Then if they're rich and are seen to be treated differently...

Deliberate distraction, yes, but the media and politicians know exactly which buttons to press
