I seem to remember that originally you could only give up to 3 claps.

I still work in that mindset, so no, one clap isn't amazing, but it's an appreciation.

Now I guess they're endless, but that means nothing to me. I once got 50 and that seemed ridiculous. Where's the context? Why not 500?

I almost feel sorry for the person sitting there clicking 50 times, my article wasn't even that good
